A Message from Your Property Appraiser, Vickie A. Downs


As we close out 2025, I want to thank the residents of Collier County for a wonderful year. It has been an honor to serve as your Property Appraiser, and I am incredibly grateful for the trust you place in our office. December is a time for reflection, gratitude, and togetherness, and I wish you and your loved ones a joyful and peaceful holiday season.


This time of year also gives us the opportunity to pause and remember Abe Skinner, whose decades of dedicated service helped shape the foundation of this office. Abe’s leadership, integrity, and commitment to public service continue to inspire us, and his legacy remains an important part of our work each day.


From all of us at the Collier County Property Appraiser’s Office, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Please note that our offices will be closed from Wednesday, December 24 through Friday, December 26, in observance of Christmas. We will reopen for regular business hours following the holiday.


Thank you for allowing my team and me to serve you. We look forward to continuing our work together in the new year.
