It’s been a great May here in Collier County! With more than 30 years of experience in the Property Appraiser’s Office, I am grateful every day for the opportunity to serve our vibrant community as your elected Property Appraiser.

🏡 Property Assessment Cycle


The Property Appraiser’s Office is responsible for annually locating, identifying, and valuing real and tangible personal property for purposes of ad valorem taxation. Our professionals work throughout the year to meet important deadlines established by the Florida Department of Revenue.



🇺🇸 Property Tax Exemptions for Disabled Veterans


We’re proud to support our veterans. There are exemptions available that may reduce the assessed value of a homestead property for disabled veterans.

📈 In the Home Stretch: 2025 Preliminary Taxable Values


The State of Florida requires Property Appraisers to report the taxable values to the local taxing authorities, which include the Board of County Commissioners, the School Board, and municipalities. This taxable value assists them in preparing their annual budgets and subsequent millage rates. Our production cycle for the 2025 tax year began on January 1st.
