Hi friends,


We’ve had a great (and hot!) summer here in Collier County, and we’re already looking forward to welcoming back our seasonal residents as fall approaches. September also marked an important milestone. September 15th was the deadline to appeal market values to the Value Adjustment Board (VAB). We thank everyone who engaged in the process and encourage you to stay informed about your property assessments throughout the year.

🧦 Socktober Fest – Donations Now Open!


CCPA is excited to be participating in Socktober Fest 2025! We are collecting new socks (sizes Children’s 3T through Adult) in our lobby through October 31st to benefit the non-profit Beverly’s Angels, whose mission is to empower individuals by providing assistance that fosters self-reliance and empowerment, not dependency. Drop by and help us spread warmth to those in need this season.

📋 What Does the Property Appraiser’s Office Do?

The Collier County Property Appraiser’s Office has several essential functions that directly serve our residents and ensure fairness across the tax system. Our responsibilities include:


  • Maintaining accurate property ownership records: We track deed transfers and ensure that property ownership details are always up to date.


  • Administering property tax exemptions: From homestead exemptions to those for seniors, veterans, and widows/widowers, we ensure eligible residents receive their lawful tax savings.


  • Valuing all real and tangible personal property: Our team locates, identifies, and values property annually for ad valorem taxation, ensuring assessments reflect just value.


Together, these functions uphold fairness, transparency, and accountability in Collier County’s property tax system.


🏛️ District 4 Town Hall – Engaging With Our Community


This month, I had the privilege of attending the District 4 Town Hall hosted by County Commissioner Daniel Kowal and State Representative Yvette Benarroch.


I am so grateful to all the constituents who came out to share your thoughts and concerns. Your voices are the reason we do this work. Tonight was a wonderful reminder of the strength of our community when we come together.

A: Enroll in the Clerk’s Risk Alert Program.

Scammers can file fake deeds, liens, or mortgages to steal property or delay sales. Collier County residents can now get notified when any document is recorded against their property.
